THE PRESENT MOMENT – HERE AND NOW

If you google “present moment”, 1.7 billion posts come up in about 4 seconds. It’s a simple definition. It’s now, right now. But since time has been invented (meaning the clock), it is hard to visualize the present moment because we ask ourselves: “How can I be in the present moment one minute from now?” So, you need to let go of those hands on the clock and just be.

A car passes by, in my “now”. Two minutes later, that memory is in my past.  In my “now”, I can bring back the past. I can also bring back the emotions that were related to something that happened in my past. Thus the reason to savor the present, when it is in harmony with your soul.

But let’s say that your present is in turmoil at this moment… Do you have the ability to bring back a happy memory from your past in your turmoil present? Absolutely! This practice can help you get those happy peptides that I wrote about in my book “This book is not for you – purposely written for me but may be life changing for you”.

Your body is a protein making machine. All emotions tend to diversify the production of those said proteins. Positive emotions will help the body heal itself. Negative emotions will stop healing procedures. So, this is why it is so important to be in a positive mood. Is this possible? All the time? Yes it is! However it takes some practice.

I am not saying that you are not allowed to have sad moments in your life.  It does happen that you feel for someone. If someone else is sad, and they are your best friend or someone you care for, it does hurt when you see them sad. Comfort at this point also heals both parties. Hugs are one of the most powerful tools to regain your present moment.

In session one of my free FEEL GOOD WEBINAR, we start practicing meditation. We also practice breathing techniques: very good practice to bring back the present moment. Another way of being in the present moment would be to observe things around you: your cat or dog, running after its tail; your kids playing in the yard; a bird building its nest; anything that would keep you centered in the time space that is now.

If for any reason you have difficulty concentrating, don’t have enough focus to get into a practice of being in the present moment, maybe you might be lacking some specific nutrients. I can help you with this. You might benefit from my Virtual Health Consultation.

I very often quote bible verses since they bring out true meanings we are searching for. “Be still and know that I am God”, Psalm 46:10. God, Universe, Source, whatever makes you understand that we are a part of something bigger. What is important here is that stillness speaks, stillness is healthy for the soul.

Till we meet again in another present moment!

Tata for now!
